President of the Municipality of Palilula Boban Džunić, again visited the residents of Novo Selo. As it was agreed with the Head of Sector for Emergency Situations Predrag Maric, the terrain should have been visited also by the representatives of representatives of Srbija Vode from Belgrade. Emergency events related to the decline in military helicopter have postponed this visit. I continue to insist on the proclamation of emergency state in this part of town because the situation every day is worse and worse, said president Džunić. Adriana Anastasov, MP, also promises help who says that there is an information that similar situation is in the Donje Medjurovo where flooded are about 100 hectares of the land. I shall inform the competent Committee on Environment Parliament of Serbia, Anastasov said.

Novo Selo still look like Venice. Around 200 households are still under water. It is not clear how big is the damage that groundwaters brought. Some people have flooded basements, some yards, and there are also those where water entered houses. Among them is a single father Miodrag Mitrovic who has two children. The rooms are flooded and sewage began to spill. I have children to save from here and to seek accommodation somewhere, Mitrovic said. With floods in Novo Selo and surrounding areas in Palilula municipality will be dealing with in the coming days.
